After the release of The Perfect FM22 3-3-2-2 tactic by GG513FM, he’s back with a new Football Manager 2022 tactic that provides magnificent results! This time he has been inspired by Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid tactic and brings his FM22 Overpowered 3-5-2 tactic.
Recreating Diego Simeone’s 3-5-2 is a feat that not many can achieve, myself included. Diego Simeone have over the last 10 years established Atletico Madrid into one of the hardest teams to beat! Their 25 goals conceded in the 2020-21 season helped the team to win the Spanish La Liga title.
By switching from his ordinary 4-4-2 system and starting to experimenting with a 5-3-2 / 3-5-2 shape, Diego Simeone moved from a more physical and aggressive style of play to a more possession-oriented system. His use of a back three and a compact midfield ensures defensive solidity and compactness in the middle. With lots of passing options for every player and an attacking midfielder who drops between the lines to cause chaos, I’ve used some of the concepts of Diego Simeone when creating my latest Overpowered FM22 Tactic.
However, using his 3-5-2 as a base, I have created a devastating and effective 3-5-2 formation that should elevate your team to the top!
Making use of TWO Segundo Volante’s and utilising the powerful Defensive Winger role, this brand new Football Manager 2022 tactic allows for impressive stability defensively and takes counter-attacking football to a whole new level!
Combining an Advanced Forward with a False Nine creates a wonderful overload against the oppositions defence as the Attacking Midfielder just behind is left alone to create as many chances as possible.
