After the release of my tactical recreation of Pep’s Barcelona from 2008/09 season, I’m back with another FM26 tactic recreation. This time, a tactic inspired by Luis Enrique’s PSG 4-3-3 from the 2024/25 season – a side built around structure, intensity, and collective discipline at the highest level.
Rather than relying on individual brilliance, this system focuses on cohesion, pressing intelligence, and clear positional responsibilities. The aim of this recreation is to mirror how PSG functioned as a unit — both with and without the ball — inside the Football Manager 2026 match engine.
In the 2024/25 season, Luis Enrique guided Paris SG to a remarkable quadruple – achieving one of the club’s best seasons in the entire history by winning both the Ligue 1 with a comfortable 19 points gap as well as winning the UEFA Champions League with a stunning 5-0 against Inter.
From that moment, Luis Enrique’s PSG tactics showcased its brilliance! Using a flexible shape that combines positional play with rotations and structured overloads – aiming to control space and tempo – Paris SG’s possession-based philosophy and coordinated pressing won alot of hearts!
