Mikey Moore / 15 / Tottenham
Tottenham has probably one of the best English wonderkids in FM24 in their ranks. Mikey Moore is one of these unreal talents that could become world-class superstars 10 years into the future!

However, at the age of 15, you’re able to turn him into the winger or forward you want! He could potentially be a good Trequartista or a False 9, meaning he can fit whichever team playing a possession-brand of football.

Lewis Miley is one of the new kids on the block! Already made his debut in the English Premier League and in the UEFA Champions League due to an injury crises at Newcastle, the English midfielder has everything needed to become the next one to follow in Jude Bellingham’s footsteps.
Like Jude he’s able to play as either a central midfielder or slot in behind the striker as an attacking midfielder. His assists against Chelsea put him on the same honorable list as Phil Foden, Wayne Rooney and Cesc Fabregas, as one of the youngest players to make an assist in Premier League.
In FM24, Lewis Miley stands out for decision-making and tactical intelligence both in and out of possession. Despite only being 17, he has great physical attributes – mainly through his acceleration and pace, but also his stamina and work rate are desireable skills for a world-class midfielder.
In possession of the ball, Lewis Miley excels. Finishing and Long Shots that makes him a wonderful Shadow Striker in a 4-2-3-1 system, or Passing, Dribbling and Off the ball movement to be used as a Mezzala or a Central Midfielder attack in a 4-3-3 system.

Lamine Yamal / 16 / Barcelona
We couldn’t create a list of the best young players in Football Manager 2024 without including one of the greatest wonderkids in the game! We’re of course talking about Barcelona’s new jewel – Lamine Yamal.
The 16-year old Inside Forward has already shown his remarkable skills from his record-breaking La Liga debut to his shock debut for the Spanish National team, whenhe scored his first goal and became also the youngest ever goalscorer for Spain.
Able to Dazzle the opponents with dribbles and a ball control that’s out of this world, makes Lamine Yamal the winger every team in the world wishes for. His abilities in one-on-one situations, his unpredictability and ball control puts both the opponents, the stand and pundits in awe of what he’s capable of!
In FM24, Lamine Yamal is a ready-made first team starter product. Only 16, but 19 in flair, 15 in off the ball and 16 in technique together with the potential to become the next Lionel Messi according to his PA shows his attacking brilliance.
In fact, he’s one of few players with the highest potential rating ever given in Football Manager. We’re talking a maximum potential of reaching the same levels of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo! Sign him if you ever get the chance! You won’t regret it!
Transfer Value: €35-45Mill
Potential: 170-200
Sverre Halseth Nypan / 16 / Rosenborg
After a disastrous season, the only bright spot at Rosenborg is their crown jewel; Sverre Halseth Nypan. The new Norwegian Wonderkid became the youngest ever Rosenborg player at the age of 15 and 322 days when he made his Eliteserien debut November 6th, 2022.
Since then he has received 25 appearances and scoring 5 goals – something that has attracted the attention of some of the biggest football clubs in Europe.
Sverre Halseth Nypan is a versatile midfielder. His ball control, unpredictability and vision makes him into an ideal playmaker who can play both as a central midfielder or as an attacking midfielder. He can even become a great inverted winger or wide playmaker as he possesses great acceleration and pace considering his age.
Unlike many others, he’s able to use either foot meaning you can use him both on the right or left foot of a 4-3-3 formation, or on either flanks.
For less than €6Million, you’re able to sign a fairly consistent performer and a highly skillful player that can play in the top 5 leagues with ease from day one. His potential is also elite – making him able to become a world-class player within the next five years.
Sverre Nypan is a must-buy wonderkid on Football Manager 2024. You can’t ignore the opportunity to sign the next Martin Ødegaard on FM24!
Transfer Value: €3.5-6Mill
Potential: 150-180
Rodrigo Mora / 16 / Porto
FC Porto’s youth academy comes often in the shadow of Sporting Lisbon’s and Benfica, and honestly it been some years since FC Porto has managed to produce a world-class talent. In fact, we need to head back to the 2002 generation when Fabio Silva and Francisco Conceição came through to find a youth graduate with similar potential and hype. Now the next jewel of FC Porto Academy, Rodrigo Mora, is ready to make his breakthrough in the 2024-2025 season.
This season, Rodrigo Mora has been a regular for Porto’s B-Team and gained experience in the Liga Portugal 2. So far he has made 1 assist and scored 2 goals over 10 appearances. In the UEFA Youth League he has made several impressing appearances something that has resulted in 4 goals in 5 appearances.
Rodrigo Mora is a versatile and creative attacking midfielder who stands out for his excellent ball control, flair and quickness. The attacking midfielder got wonderful skills in one-on-one situations – capable of using progressive carries and dribbles to gain enough space to either shoot from long range, or make key passes or assists by threading passes to the forwards. His vision, passing and technique is desireable attributes for any playmakers who will roam between the lines to make those killer passes into the penalty box.
His off the ball movement, quickness, crossing, finishing and long shots enables you to use him in a number of different positions and roles – all depending on how you want to best utilize his gifts. Personally, I would use him as an AMC in a 4-2-3-1 formation but could also be a great inside forward for a 4-3-3 formation.
Rodrigo Mora is probably one of the best FM24 wonderkids that gets easily overlooked. His transfer value at the start of 2023-24 season is at remarkable €1.5-4Mill. However, after one season it rises to €40-50Mill, meaning you should act fast to secure one of the young players in Football Manager 2024 that could become first team starters in a few seasons.
Transfer Value: €1.5-4Mill
Potential: 150-180
Estevão / 16 / Palmeiras
If you’re hunting for wonderkids, then the Palmeiras youth system should be your one-stop place to find elite wonderkids that can take any club to new heights. Last year, much of the excitement where about Endrick and the dust hadn’t settled before a new Palmeiras wonderkid was starting to make a rise.
Estevão Willian or Messinho (Little Messi), is the next Brazilian wonderkid on the line to take Europe with storm. Wanted by Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barcelona and other European super clubs, Estevão has been making headlines since the age of 10. Then, he became the youngest ever to sign a contract with Nike.
At December 7th, 2023, Estevão made his debut for the first team of Palmeiras when he received 12 minutes against Cruzeiro. What’s interesting is that Estevão made the move from Cruzeiro in 2021.
Until his debut, he has made some remarkable performances for Palmeiras U17 and the Brazilian Under-17s. As one of the stars of the FIFA Under-17 World Cup, Estevão made 3 assists and 3 goals over 5 apperances on the right wing.
When loading up Football Manager 2024 for the first time, his attributes might not look outstanding but as the season progresses, he will be one of the biggest stars.
Able to play as either an attacking midfielder or an Inside Forward, Esteväo stands out for his agility, dribbling, technique, vision and flair. His wonderful attacking instict and abilities to carry the ball makes him into an attack of its own. As he moves the ball into the final third with elegance and pace, his powerful placed long shots and composure could draw similarities to his idol, Lionel Messi.
How he tears apart the opposing defensive block and manage to use his low centre of gravity and rapid changes of direction while keeping control of the ball makes watching him into a special affair.
For less than €2Million, you could sign one of the biggest wonderkids in world football of 2023 in your next FM24 save! However, you will need to wait until he turns 18 before you’ll be able to enjoy his remarkable gifts.
Transfer Value: €700K-2Mill
Potential Rating: 170-190
Jorrel Hato / 17 / AFC Ajax
In the aftermath of Erik ten Hag’s success at Ajax, their biggest stars and best players was quickly peached by bigger teams. After 2022-23 season Ajax sold players for over €200Million. While some would worry when players like Daley Blind and Lisandro Martinez departures, the Dutch club has been through it before. As usual, their youth policy pays off and they are able to promote from within the squad to replace their stars.
Jorrel Hato is one of these young players at AFC Ajax who has been trusted with a place within the first team and taken the opportunity to establish themself on the highest level, just as Ryan Gravenberch did when Donny van de Beek left.
Like many of the other Ajax graduates, Jorrel Hato is a player with the abilities to play in multiple roles or positions. Able to play as either a ball playing defender, libero or wide centre-back in the centre-back strata, or as a fullback or inverted wing-back.
The versatile defender could be labelled the next John Stones and potentially become the next of Pep’s Man City signings. Standing out for his physic and natural fitness, Jorrel Hato got the necessary abilities to withstand the demands of professsional football.
His positioning, anticipation, decision-making and overall tactical intelligent makes him a great defensive player. His abilities to man mark opposing attackers, make tackles and interceptions are necessary skills for any defenders. What sets Jorrel Hato appart from the rest is his abilities in possession.
He got the unpredictability with the ball that provides some creativity when building out from the back, as well as passing, vision and technique to create chances from deep. As a full-back he’s able to make accurate crosses from deep – something that may help to unlock and surprise settled defensive blocks.
Transfer Value: 20-58Mill
Potential Rating: 150-180
Ethan Nwaneri / 16 / Arsenal
Compared to Jack Wilshere by Mikel Arteta for his abilities on the ball, drawn similarities to Thierry Henry’s playing style and rated as one of the best products within the Arsenal Academy in ages, Ethan Nwaneri is the next big thing in English football.
Ethan Nwaneri has trained with the first team of Arsenal for some time but could make his international debut any time soon. Called up to travel with Arsenal’s first team for their UEFA Champions League match against PSV, Ethan Nwaneri could become the youngest Arsenal player to feature in an European competition.
In September 2022, Ethan Nwaneri made his debut in the Premier League – making him the youngest ever player to get minutes in the competition. Since 2022, the attacking midfielder has made 9 goals in 21 appearances for the English U17 side, and contributed to 14 goals in 24 appearances in all competitions and cups combined for Arsenal U17 before being promoted to the Reserves.
In the Premier League 2 he has scored 4 goals in 4 matches – something that paints the picture of his unique skills.
The attacking midfielder stands out for his technique and close control. Unlike many others, his mixture of quickness, creativity, dribbling and passing makes him a gifted player who can be as natural in the number 8 position as in the number 10, or be playing on the flank as an Inside Forward or wide playmaker. In the final third he possess the finishing abilities and composure to finish off chances, as well as setting up his teammates for a shot.
READ MORE | What makes Ethan Nwaneri so special?
His abilities with the ball and calmness with it makes him into a highly press-resistant player who can retain possession and change the point of attack with his inverted carries and use of body to open up passing lanes.
In some ways, the English wonderkid has everything you desire of a modern false winger and could easily become the next Dennis Bergkamp – a player who can become an Arsenal legend!
Transfer Value: 17-51Mill
Potential Rating: 150-180
Junior Kroupi / 17 / Lorient
If you’re looking for a shadow striker for your 4-2-3-1 tactic, then look no further than to French phenomenon Eli Junior Kroupi.
The teenage second striker is a product of FC Lorient and eventually got his first team debut after making several impressive performances for Lorient B. After 9 goals in 18 appearances, he received his Ligue 1 debut in June 2023 against Strasbourg, which made him the youngest ever Lorient player.
The 179cm tall attacking midfielder was promoted to the French Under-18 national team after scoring 9 goals in 9 appearances for the U17 National team.
In FM24, Junior Kroupi has eveerything you would desire in a shadow striker or Advanced Forward. He’s quick, he got great mobility and movements, his finishing, dribbling and technique is great, as well as having the team work and vision to create chances for his teammates besides putting the ball into the net.
His ball control and progressive carries is something to consider when signing Junior Kroupi in Football Manager, but what’s so special with this French talent is how he moves in behind the defensive line between the centre-backs and uses his quickness to come first at low crosses into the box.
Besides being a counter-attacking threat with his movement and quickness, Junior Kroupi has the aggression to quickly regain possession high up the field, making him the ideal forward for any gegenpressing tactics on Football Manager.
Transfer Value: 14-44Mill
Potential Rating: 150-180
Amidou Doumbouya / 15 / OGC Nice
The next big thing in French football is 15-year-old centre back Amidou Doumbouya. The central defender joined OGC Nice from Sochaux in August 2023 after fending off interest from other major clubs, such as FC Barcelona who was interested in him back in May. At OGC Nice he will be in a safe environment to establish himself as a first team starter.
Amidou will come into the first-team squad. We want to get him ready for the highest level and to create an environment that will make him one of the club’s key components in the future.”
Jean-Pierre Rivère, OGC Nice President
Amidou Doumbouya is a unpolished diamond. The left-footed defender has everything needed to develop close to his maximum potential abilities. At the age of 15 he has great positioning and tackling – two desireable skills for all defenders. In possession of the ball, he’s very calm and composed and got the passing to become a wonderful ball-playing defender, and should suit any teams playing out from the back.
Even though he lacks the physical attributes needed for defenders, his aggression and work rate is decent. These are two areas it’s harder to develop in Football Manager.
Due to his lack of strength and marking, it might be useful to retrain Amidou Doumbouya into a defensive midfielder at the role of a Half Back. In this position and role he will be able to use his passing to full effect.
Transfer Value: €700K-2Mill
Potential Rating: 140-170
Nestory Irankunda / 17 / Adelaide/Bayern Münich
Nestory Irankunda, the teenage sensation, is probably fairly unknown to most of you in Football Manager despite making a move to Bayern Münich for 2024/2025 season. Based in Adelaide in Australia, not everyone of you have been able to sign Nestory Irankunda – unless you have loaded all players from top division of either Australia or Oceania.
Nestory Irankunda is a rapid winger – much like Leory Sane or Ethan Mbappe. With an acceleration of 16 and pace of 15 at the start of 2023/24 season, the Australian wonderkid’s physic should fit ideally into the German Bundesliga.
At Adelaide, the Tanzanian born winger has made 2 assists and 1 goal in 6 A-League appearances. The goal came from a phenomenal executed free-kick from long range that was curled around the wall and into the top corner.
Besides being a free-kick specialist, Nestory Irankunda has a determination and an instict for goals. He loves to just fire the shots away with enough force to blast it into the net. He has scored several goals where slightly drops deep to collect the ball before making a long range shot from outside the penalty box before blasting the ball into the net.
Some of these skills draws similarities to Endrick.
Besides being a huge counter-attacking threat and one to score goals from all ranges, Nestory Irankunda also has the attacking movement and unpredictability to move into pocket of spaces – making it hard for the opposition to keep track of him and intercept his darting runs in behind the defensive line.
His extraordinary quickness and physic makes Nestory Irankunda into a powerful player. Something that haas resulted in 11 goals in 7 appearances for the Australian U17 side.
In Nestory Irankunda, Bayern Münich has found their next Arjen Robben – a player who can use his quickness and one-on-one abilities to isolate and overload their opponents down the right flank.
Transfer Value: €500K-1.6Mill
Potential Rating: 140-170
Endrick / 17 / Palmeiras
Endrick is probably yesterdays news. And if you still haven’t heard of him, I wonder which type of rock you’ve been living under for the last three years? After the Brazilian wonderkid signed a contract with Real Madrid two days before Christmas last year for a fee of nearly €38Million, he started the 2023 season with a goal drouth but ended the season with 11 goals in 31 appearances.
Labelled as the greatest talent of the 2006 generation, Endrick has always made goals synonymous to his name. Before being promoted to the U17 side of Palmeiras, Endrick apparently scored 165 goals in 169 appearances. This wouldn’t be possible unless he had great work rate, determination and aggression. He simply want to score goals – a feat that draw similarities to Pele or Cristiano Ronaldo.
There’s not so much more to say as I’m sure you know all about the abilities of this gifted forward talent.
Potential Rating: 160-190
If you’re curious to see how Endrick develops into the future of Football Manager 2024, check out this video by FranklyFM84.
Leny Yoro / 17 / LOSC Lille
If you’re looking to create the best Wonderkids XI on Football Manager 2024, then we can’t look away from Leny Yoro. France has always been able to produce world-class defenders and at LOSC Lille you’ll find the next one. Wanted by Real Madrid, Manchester City and Manchester United, Leny Yoro has quickly established himself as a first team starter at the French Ligue 1 club and made them into one of the tightest defences in the league.
So far this season he has scored 3 goals in 19 appearances if we include cup and Conference League matches.
Leny Yoro is a modern centre-back who got both the necessary quickness and positioning to become one of the greatest defenders in world football 10 years on.
Besides being a reliable ball-playing defender, his timing of his runs and aerial skills at attacking free-kicks and corners has made him into an attacking threat. Compared to Jorrel Hato, Leny Yoro their profile looks quite similar but with a difference of 1 in several attributes such as acceleration, marking and positioning.
What you should note is the tactical intelligence of Leny Yoro. His awareness, concentration and decision-making makes him into a great defender. Leny Yoro is one of the players that’s deemed to be upgraded for FM24 winter transfer update, but could progress rapidly in your save due to his high Determination.
Transfer Value: €15-50Mill
Potential Rating: 140-170
Gianluca Prestianni / 17 / Velez
The final best young player to recommend of wonderkids on Football Manager 2024 is one of my favorite players. Velez Sarsfield’s new wonderkid, Gianluca Prestianni, has been compared to Lionel Messi for his low centre of gravity and how he elegantly moves around the pitch with the ball seemingly glued to his feet.
This season he has played regularly for Velez Sarsfield in the premier division – something that has resulted in 31 appearances and scoring 2 goals.
The Argentinian Inverted Winger has been on the radar of a number of European clubs and is rumoured to make a move to Benfica in January as he then turns 18 and is eligible for a transfer overseas.
Gianluca Prestianni is an amazing player to watch. Gifted with acceleration and pace, and the technical brilliance to run down the flank to put in crosses into the box, or use his quickness to quickly transition into attack by carrying the ball over longer distances, he stands out in one-on-one situations due to his agility, balance and flair.
Apart from wonderful dribbles and a sublime first touch that makes him into a press-resistant player that any sides needs, his tactical understanding of when and where to move, vision to see potential chances and other teammates runs helps the team to create chances from the right side.
The winger is capable to be an attack of its own as he can create chances out of nothing. How he dances around the pitch and use his unpredicability to carry the ball into more dangerous areas before either making a quick shot, cross or through balls are skills every top team desires. In some ways, his skills can be compared to Jeremy Doku or former Barcelona winger Pedro – one who can cut inside from the flank and beat his marker with some sensational tricks.
