What’s Improved with ASF Skin?
The ASF Skin modifies the Football Manager 26 appearances to a greater degree. Here’s a quick list of the most noticable changes within the ASF Skin.
- removed the borders and the box-like feeling around the clickable Cards and Tiles. This gives a visual improvement to FM26 that makes it feel a bit more like playing FM24.
The element is still clickable and opens up a new window or screen. - changed background colors and the overall color scheme; from purple to blue
- added background images on several screens
- added 19 different adboards – enabling ads from real-life companies within the stadiums
- enhanced the graphics of the Pitch used for the Tactics Planner box in Match Day screen
- added background images to different news items within News Site or Portal Messages
- changed the font of FM26
- modified several tables, e.g player recommendations, transfer history, search results and more
- a 3D match preview lineup graphics can be manually installed
- + many other smaller modifications

Re-defined Player Profile
One of the most noticable changes is that the ASF skin arrives with the player profile polygon mod by Lotsgon included in players profiles by default! This gives you a visual improvement – enabling you to see a spider web chart players abilities in key areas of the game, such as speed, vision, defending or attacking.
New Match Lineups
The FM26 ASF skin also incorporates new match pre-match lineups graphics. At the time of writing, it’s 9 different lineup graphics available: Sky Sports, Transfermarkt, TNT, Primevideo, ESPN and BBC, alongside one specific for Saudi Pro League and Türkiye Süper Lig.

When downloading, you will also be able to install a 3D match preview lineup graphics manually.
Updated News Items with background images
This skin also incorporates relevant background images to news items and messages – giving you a visual improvement within the Portal. You’ll receive the ‘Transfer Centre’ background to all news about transfers, or see the ‘Transfer Talk’ graphics for any transfer rumours. In total, there are 20 different background images for all sorts of news items.
Added 2D Match Panel in Match Highlight Mode
As of the latest update, published on 15th February, you’ll find the 2D Match panel re-added into the match highlight mode. This is a great addition to the skin by enabling you to visually see how the match unfolds whilst seeing match stats and other events.

Thanks to incredible help MW90, we were able to display the player photos properly, without cropping or enlarging them, which would otherwise blur the image. And the gentleman (sic) showed me how to make beautiful switches instead of dots. Small details are pleasing to the eye.

- Circles around photos where we could find them (90 percent) have been removed.

Conclusion
All in all, the Football Manager 26 ASF skin is a wonderful solution if you wish to give FM26 a fresh new look. Although the skin is work in process and have seen significant changes from 0.4 to 0.6. it makes Football Manager look fantastic by adding dynamic backgrounds, remove borders and bring new panels that will help any armchair managers to make better decisions within the game.
With a theme and colour scheme that is pretty much similar to the Passion4FM website, the FM26 ASF skin has quickly become my preferred FM26 skin!
How to Install the Skin
The skin can be installed using the program FM Skin Builder. This is an easy method to switch between downloaded skins, revert to the default skin, or customize your own skin, for instance by editing colors within a downloaded FM26 skin.

- Copy and paste all the files within the packages folder
