So let us turn our attention to the golden generation of 2010 – those young talents deemed to make an impact in Football Manager 27.

The Most Promising Talents of 2010 Generation | Exciting FM27 Wonderkids

Ebrima Tunkara – Barcelona’s new golden boy!

Potential FM27 Wonderkids: Barcelona's golden boy Ebrima Tunkara

Once again, Barcelona’s La Masia Academy has managed to produce a possible world-class superstar. Following in the footsteps of Lionel Messi, Xavi and Lamine Yamal, the new kid on the block, Ebrima Tunkara is the next standout talent within the Academy – hailed as the next big thing at Barcelona!

Born in Lamoi, Gambia, 10 March 2010, Ebrima Tunkara Yataberreh, entered Barcelona ‘s youth squad in 2018/19 and have quickly rosen through the ranks through impressive performances for both the Spanish youth National teams and Barcelona’s Academy structure throughout the last few years. On 26 February 2026, Ebrima debuted for Barca Atlétic – becoming the joint third-youngest player for Barcelona’s reserves together with Alejandro Grimaldo, Lamine Yamal and Guille Fernandez.

Ebrima Tunkara is a natural attacking midfielder, who can also play as central midfielder or be used on the left or right wing. As one of the biggest names representing the Spanish Under-17 squad at the UEFA U17 Euro, he showcases his class as a playmaker and a goal threat in the first match against Estonia – making two assists and scoring one goal in 57 minutes.

At the end, he was also named the 2026 Under-17 Euro player of the tournament after impressive performances, guiding Spain to the semi-finals by making four assists, 23 key passes and scoring one goal over 4 appearances.

Noted for his outstanding abilities to find pocket of spaces to dictate tempo and move between the lines by executing dribbles, create chances from inch-perfect passes and attacking movements, Ebrima Tunkara is an exceptional attacking threat – one deemed to knock on Hansi Flick’s first team squad anytime soon.

The attacking midfielder’s abilities to receive the ball under pressure, glide through the lines with the ball seemingly glued to his feet before finding his teammates in or around the penalty area are skills perfectly fit for a possession-hungry Barcelona side.

As one of the best players in the world in the 2010-generation, it’s no wonder we can’t wait for Ebrima Tunkara’s debut in Football Manager 27 giving us the ability to develop him into one of the best footballers in the world.

Bruno Cabral – River Plate’s New Terrifying Goal machine!

River Plate wonderkid Bruno Cabral in Football Manager 26

For those of you who are searching for wonderkids in Football Manager, River Plate might be the go-to place for finding the next big thing! Following in the footsteps of Franco Mastantuono, Claudio Echeverri, Juan Cruz Meza and Ian Subiabre, Los Millonarios got a new generational talent within their ranks that may become the next Lautaro Martinez.

Born on the 16 August 2010, Bruno Cabral is one of those players who might be too young to be featured in FM27 but needs to be mentioned when talking about potential FM27 wonderkids.

Bruno Cabral is a centre-forward with outstanding goalscoring abilities. Capable of finding the net from all ranges, the 15-year-old striker is a young talent with increasing reputation in South America and across the world. The promising striker even appeared in a World Cup 26 TV advertisement for Hyundai Motor entitled “Next Starts Now”.

Currently representing Argentina’s Undeer-16 national team but is also eligible to play for Paraguay due to his relatives, the versatile attacker has scored 4 goals in 3 matches so far this season.

The Argentine wonderkid has the profile of being able to play both as a Wide Forward who cuts inside or as a Deep-Lying Forward / False 9 who drops into attacking midfield to pick up the ball and carry the ball into dangerous positions by dribbling past both two or three players before finishing off with a wonderful curled ball around the goalkeeper.

Combining attacking flair with raw goalscoring instinct, he’s one who can score goals from long ranges, free-kicks or just tap the ball in after a cross. Unlike Haaland who uses Determination, raw pace and Aggression to score goals, Bruno Cabral is more technical – capable of carrying the ball into the final third before placing the ball in the back of the net with a sensible touch. Capable of playing on either side, he has the technical abilities in tight spaces to glide past his markers and curl the ball into the opposite corner.

Standing only 175cm above the ground, he’s not the fiercest threat in aerial situations but his great positioning, off the ball movements and athleticism makes him a difficult threat in all attacking situations.

Recently receiving the top scorer title of Vertex Cup 2026 and previously being top scorer and player of the tournament within the Messi Cup 2025 he’s a centre-forward with composure in front of the goal, ball control and finishing technique that draws comparison to some of the best strikers Argentina ever had!

According to Scoutium on Instagram, the young striker scored 51 goals in 36 appearances in 2025 and is dubbed the next big thing coming out of Argentina.

Although he may not have the potential to reach Ebrima Tunkara’s levels, River Plate’s new wonderkid Bruno Cabral is definitely one to watch for in FM27, and it won’t go long until the major clubs in Europe will try to secure his services!

Linus Güther – Germany’s Latest Rising Star

Potential German wonderkid in FM27 Linus Güther player profile in FM26

With Germany obviously in a transition with many experienced players at the peak of their career, a new golden generation is needed in a country who have won the World Cup four times. Following in the footsteps of Jamal Musiala and Florian Wirtz a new technical gifted creative winger has emerged.

While most of the best talents in Germany is often found at Bayern Münich, Hertha Berlin or Borussia Dortmund, Union Berlin has managed to produce one of the most interesting players erupting in Germany this season.

His name is Linus Güther – a versatile player who can play in every position in the attacking third but is mostly used on the left wing where he can cut inside onto his strongest foot (the right).

Last season, he started out by playing on the left wing for the Under-17 side of Union Berlin before being promoted to the Under-19 side. In April 2026, 3 days after turning 16, he received his first team debut against Heidenheim – becoming the second youngest-ever player in the Bundesliga and for Union Berlin.

Linus Güther is the new breed of German wonderkids emerging these days attracting my curiosity. Drawing similarities to Florian Wirtz and Jamal Musiala for their outstanding ball control, vision and dribbling abilities, Linus Güther has all the technical skills, creativity and agility to play at the highest level as he thrives in pocket of spaces and shines between the lines.

Capable of moving the ball from wider areas or from deeper positions into the final third before finding a teammate with an inch-perfect through ball, he’s a joy to watch, especially when luring the defender with dribbles and feints that no one could anticipate. His ability to do the unexpected, his close control and attacking attitude is what everything team nowadays desire. Press-resistant as he can hold up the ball, dictate tempo and switch it up by quick combination makes it difficult for the defenders to anticipate what will happen next. His short- and long-range passing is exceptional. His ability to carry the ball, likewise.

In FM27, Linus Güther may be one of those wonderkids you could pick up for less than €15m and still make a huge profit over the next 10 years!

Alongside Marwan-Omir Mirza, Dion Hofmeister, Marko Soldic and Niko Ilicevic, he’s one of many German wonderkids emerging these days – making the future look bright for a nation requiring a huge rebuild before World Cup 2030!

JJ Gabriel – Manchester United’s New Magical Cristiano Ronaldo Regen!

Man Utd wonderkid JJ Gabriel in Football Manager 26

By now, anyone who follows English football should have heard about JJ Gabriel but despite training with the first team on several occasions over the past seasons, JJ Gabriel is still only 15 years old and if we’re unlucky, he won’t even feature in FM27 as he’s born on October 6th, 2010.

With the cut off birth date limit to feature players in the FM27 database towards the end of September, we might have to wait until FM28 before JJ Gabriel is in Football Manager.

Regardless, I feel he needs to be mentioned when the topic is potential FM27 wonderkids.

Dubbed as one of the most promising talents coming through the Manchester United Academy, Joseph Junior Andreou Gabriel has been incredible for Man Utd’s Under-18 team in the 2025/26 season.

His versatility has seen him play both on the left wing, as an attacking midfielder or as Centre-Forward, ending the season with 23 goals in 23 appearances in the U18 Premier League, whilst also scoring 3 goals in 6 appearances in the FA Youth Cup.

His incredible season ended up seeing him picking up the U18 player of the season award – three years younger than most of his competitors!

JJ Gabriel has been described as a special talent for years. For reason! Manchester United’s new golden boy may not be the tallest on the field, but takes up for his ‘only 175cm height’ by making some standout performances.

Combining off the ball movement with silky touches, jaw-dropping dribbles and brilliant finishing abilities, JJ Gabriel draw comparisons to a certain Portuguese #7.

Just like Zlatan and Cristiano Ronaldo, he got the flair, finishing instinct and technique to handle the ball. Some of you may have seen how JJ Gabriel juggles a tennis ball – showcasing sublime ball control and focus.

With the ball, JJ Gabriel can use both feet to find the target, whether he shoots from short or long ranges, tap the ball or split open the defence by wonderful weighted pass. Often using quick feints and changes of direction to feint the defender one way before moving the other, he’s capable of creating chances for himself and others – oftenly using quick one-two’s to get the necessary space to take advantage of his lovely finishing technique.

Once JJ Gabriel makes his Football Manager debut, we’ll be able to witness one of few players with the highest potential ranging available – possible a player who are giving -10 (170 to 200 potential ability).

Although he’s still 15 and no one knows how he will handle the transition from youth football to senior side, just think about Francesco Camarda, JJ Gabriel has the professionalism, pressure handling and determination to turn out to be one of the best players the world has ever seen! His skills are exceptional. His creativity and attacking instinct likewise! Let us all write to Miles Jacobson to demand them to try to get permission from his parents to be featured in FM27 at its release!

Heze Grimwade – Chelsea’s Creative Baller

Heze Grimwade - Chelsea's creative baller - a potential FM27 Wonderkid

For the last few years, the Chelsea Academy has made huge effort into attracting the next big thing in English football and at the moment we are starting to see their focus on youth development bearing fruits.

Over the last few years both Rio Ngumoha, Shim Mheuka, Ibrahim Rabbaj and Ryan Kavuma-McQueen have all made huge progress through the youth side but now a new  golden generation is erupting at Chelsea.

Their Under-18 side is filled with potential wonderkids. Both Mahdi Nicoll-Jazuli and Reggie Watson earns recognitionbut the one that has attracted my attention in this instance is Heze Grimwade.

A player who is not afraid to express himself, whether that being through his hair colour or how he takes care of the ball on the pitch.

Born on 18 June 2010, Heze Grimwade has just turned 16 and can be described as an attacking midfielder or second forward. He’s a sensational talent with that Brazilian flair we love watching. He’s one who excels in tight spaces with his technical ball control, silky touch, agility and dribbling skills.

Heze Grimwade is a player who is both creative but also a great goal threat. As this clip from Messi Cup 2026 shows, he got a powerful long shot and got a great finishing technique. This makes him able to play as a withdrawn Centre-Forward – moving between the lines to pick up the ball before carrying it into the penalty area.

This season Heze Grimwade has received 13 appearances in the U18 Premier League – scoring 2 goals.  For Chelsea U18 he has sometimes been used as an Inside Winger on the left flank – starting wide in the build-up before moving inside without the ball, or cutting inside with the ball.

At such a young age, there are of course areas in his game he needs to improve, especially his physical strength, and although we can never know whether he will take the huge step up from youth to senior football, there’s no doubt he got something special.

With great potential to become an English International player, Heze Grimwade is the next ‘hidden’ Chelsea wonderkid that might turn out to become a bargain on FM27.

Joshua Abe – Liverpool’s Special Wonderkid ready to make you forget about Salah

Liverpool wonderkid Joshua Abe - best wonderkids on Football Manager 27

One thing is certain…England is brimming of talented wingers who got both speed and flair. Rio Ngumoha, Jeremy Monga, JJ Gabriel,… The list could go on and on. At Liverpool, we can find two of the best English wonderkids currently emerging.

Rio Ngumoha, and the new kid on the block, Joshua Abe.

With Mohamed Salah leaving Liverpool this summer, there’s no need to spend another hundred million to replace their star player. Although still 15 years old, born 17 July, 2010, Joshua Abe could quickly get his break through in the 2026/27 season.

The 178cm tall right Winger fits the profile of what you’ll be asking of Liverpools attacking line. With more flair than the ordinary Brazilian, lightning quick footwork and low centre of gravity, Joshua Abe lights up every matches.

Featuring agility, dribbling abilities, wonderful technique and quickness, he excels in 1v1 situations where he can carry the ball into more dangerous positions. Often cutting inside from the right side, he uses his left foot to make killer passes or drive towards the centre to finish off the attack with a long shot. Compared to Grimwade, he’s a player with world-class potential – one that might become one of the most valuable in the game 10 years from now.

Playing for both the English Under-16 team and Liverpools U18, Joshua Abe has shown his ability to be the team’s primary goal threat. In the U18 Premier League he has scored 8 goals in 10 appearances, whilst also making 3 assists. For England U16, he has made 4 goals in 8 appearances between August 2025 and February 2026.

His season unfortunately ended already at the beginning of March after picking up a serious injury, something that question whether he will come back to where he was. Before his injury he was training with the first team and was highly regarded by Arne Slot as Salah’s replacement. But often, injury set backs are often a chance for players to transform their body and c9me back stronger! With such incredible ball control skills, these types of players will definitely feel the aggression from the opposite defenders, as a hard tackle is often the only way to stop them.

In FM27, Joshua Abe could become one of the most sought-after wonderkids, just like Ben Doak a few years ago or Gilberto Mora for FM26.

Giuseppe Pipitó – Juventus’ new generational talent: The Old Lady’s saviour

Juventus wonderkid Giuseppe Pipito in Football Manager 26

For a club winning the Serie A 9 times in row, the focus hasn’t always been on producing their own gems. Actually since 2020, the fall of Old Lady, both on the pitch and in Club’s management makes income from youth development a number one priority over the next 10 years.

After Kenan Yildiz and Dean Huijsen coming through and receiving their break through in 2023 and 2024, it has actually been rather scrimmage on that front.

However, now a new generational talent is erupting. His name is Giuseppe Pipitó – an attacking midfielder, second forward or wide Inside Forward going by the nickname “Mr. 33 goals”.

Alongside Alessio Nobile (2011), Pipitó is one of the best wonderkids emerging through the Juve Academy in several years. Born in Palermo on 4 March 2010, the agile and goal hungry forward came to Juventus in 2024 and is set for a bright future. This summer sees the promising talent being promoted to Juventus U18 for 2026/27 season – going from U15 football to U18 in less than 2 years.

Deemed as one of the best Italian players in the 2010 generation, Giuseppe Pipitó is one of the most important players in the Italian Under-16 squad. Featuring in a squad with many interesting players, he has ranked up 8 goals in 14 appearances – often showcasing his goalscoring abilities, quick feet and wonderful close control playing as a second forward.

In FM27 we can look forward to an Italian wonderkid who excels in tight areas. His explosiveness, off the ball movements, ability to carry the ball into dangerous areas and technique has seen Juventus eager to fend of interest from the biggest European clubs by handling him a professional contract.

Over the past season, the attacking-gifted Italian wonderkid has ranked up 33 goals – drawing similarities to Carlos Tevez in his style of play whilst also earning praise as the next Kenan Yildiz.

Before arriving at Juventus, he was a natural Centre-Forward but as tactics changes, he has often been used between the lines where he can receive in tight spaces and excel with the ball seemingly glued to his feet as he carries the ball into the final third. His abilities to create chances, both for his teammates and himself is one of the biggest strength in his game. Couple that with his precision in passes and shots, he’s a huge goal threat in or around the penalty area.

There are a few defenders and goal keepers in the future who will struggle against his fierce left foot, and his ability to hold up the ball despite not being the tallest not the most physical composing. Watch out for Giuseppe Pipitó in FM27!

Niko Ilicevic – The German hot prospect every top club wish they had!

Potential FM27 Wonderkids NIko Ilicevic

With more and more teams defending in a tight unit, leaving less space through the middle to advance play, the game needs more and more players with extraordinary skills – whether that is flair, dribbling or vision. One player who have everything you would desire of your #10 is Niko Ilicevic – Eintracht Frankfurt’s hot prospect.

Like many German wonderkids, Niko Ilicevic is of dual nationality; Germany and Croatia.

The left footed attacking midfielder has rapidly risen through the club’s Academy. This season he has both debuted in the UEFA Youth League and for the Under-19s. With 8 assists and 12 goals over 45 appearances across all competitions, both playing for the U17 and U19, he has showcased his huge potential to play at the highest level of football.

A goal against Barcelona in the UEFA Youth League attracted other clubs’ interest in his abilities. Now wanted by AC Milan, Real Madrid and Chelsea to name a few, the attacking midfielder is desired for his movement, vision and finishing technique.

Capable of playing as an Advanced Midfielder in the #8 position, drop deep as a midfield playmaker, act as a Second Forward or play between the lines, Niko Ilicevic has the versatility to be the team’s primary creative threat… and goal threat.

Skilled at beating his marker with one-two’s, agility, dribbles and feints, he excels in tight spaces. The youngster actually debuted for the first team, at the age of 14, in a friendly match and scored after a well-timed off the ball movement.

His anticipation, eye for the goal and football intelligence makes him a joy to watch. Highly-press resistance, great balance, agility and first touch, he’s difficult to come up against, especially if he’s given space… And even then he often manage to hold up the ball before finding his teammates with a well-timed pass.

His precise left foot, well-placed shots and timed runs makes Niko Ilicevic one of the best wonderkids to watch for in FM27, mark my words!

Eirik Granaas – The next Martin Ødegaard

As a Norwegian myself, I’m probably not in the right position to talk about the nations best young talents as it’s easy to overrate their potential but in the case of Eirik Granaas, the situation is different.

Born 24 March, 2010 in Drammen, Eirik Granaas is one of the biggest revelations in Norwegian football since Martin Ødegaard. Both born in the same city, both playing in the same position and both players becoming the youngest-ever Eliteserien debutant.

Although the record is now held by Gabriel Rajkovic (2011), Eirik Granaas was around a month younger when he entered the pitch for Fredrikstad against Viking, 22nd of June 2025.

Fast forward a year and 13 Eliteserien matches later, and the biggest revelation since Martin Ødegaard, was placed by Porto – a club well-fitted for his development.

At Fredrikstad, and for Norway’s Under-15 national team, he has showcased his intelligence and vision. Capable of playing both in central midfield and as an attacking midfielder, Eirik Granaas is good at finding pocket of spaces, receive and progress the ball by through balls and key passes.

With the ball, his vision, close control and abilities to thread passes through the lines draws similarities to Ødegaard’s style of play. Apart from being able at dictating tempo in the build-up, holding up the ball under pressure and create space for himself to pick out passes, Granaas is far better in front of the goal. His movement and positioning in the final third makes him a secondary threat – revealing more of a complete modern midfielder rather than the traditional playmaker.

From dropping into pocket of spaces in the left half space, the Norwegian wonderkid tends to make curved runs with the ball, cutting slightly inside, before either making a killer pass or using his finishing technique to try a placed shot.

In FM27, we can expect a technical skilled Advanced Playmaker with composure, first touch, agility, and off the ball movement. Likely available for less than €10m, Eirik Granaas might become one of the greatest cheap bargains in Football Manager 27.

Victory Okorie – The Next Nuno Mendes; Real Madrid’s hidden gem signing

Every year, there’s a thug of war between the Spanish heavyweights over the most promising Spanish talents. In March, Real Madrid won the battle against Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich for one of the best Spanish left wing backs in the 2010 generation.

Victory Okorie Igidi is a 16-year-old left back, who is born in Spain but of Nigerian descent. The 180cm tall attacking wingback came to Alaves from Rayo Vallecano in 2024.

Although quite an unfamiliar name until he made his debut for the Spanish Under-16 national team, which he has represented three times since February 2026, Victory Okorie has shown glimpses of his great potential.

Entering matches with physical strength, athleticism, quickness and an attacking attitude to make an impact in the final third, he’s the modern type of wingbacks that’s in high demand.

Out of possession, Victory seems mature in his positioning and anticipation to intercept passes and runs. Despite having the aggression and strength to regain possession, he excels in the attacking transition phase and once the ball is in possession of the ball.

Playing with high energy and speed, he loves to attack – often looking to get forward seeking opportunities to cross the ball from the byline.

Victory Okorie is one hidden gem in Football Manager 27 that we’ll probably hear lots more about in the years to come. Although he may not have world-class potential like Nuno Mendes, he can develop through the Castilla academy into an international player with similar style of play as the Portuguese star.

Cristiano Júnior – A new Portuguese star in the making!

Football can be a cruel sport regardless of your potential and skills. When only roughly 0.05% of all kids turn into professional footballers, the needle eye is tight. If you’re father is one of the best footballers in the world with 975 career goals in around 1300 appearances, expectations are unreal for his first-born child.

Defying all odds, Cristiano Júnior is following in his fathers footsteps. Born on the 17 June 2010 in La Mesa, California, the wide forward currently playing for Al Nassr is one of the biggest gems set to appear in FM27.

Sharing many of the same abilities as his father, the left winger likes to cut inside onto his right foot and can be used in every position up front.

Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos made his debut for the Spanish Under-15s 13 May 2025 against Japan. Five days later he scored two goals against Croatia. In October he was promoted to the Under-16 and has recorded 3 goals in 9 appearances – often being used as a Centre-forward.

Standing out for his explosiveness, finishing technique and dribbling skills, the Portuguese wonderkid has the skills to put in player of the match appearances.

In possession of the ball, Cristiano Júnior likes to run with the ball, often attracting attention by the opposing markers, which create space for others. However, Cristiano Júnior is skilled at creating chances for himself. Standing at around 190cm, it’s rare to see players with such elegant ball control, agility and flair when being so tall, but he can is great in 1v1 situations.

Like his father he is fierce from free-kicks – capable of curling the ball into the top corner or behind the wall with a well-timed placed long shot. Besides being a direct free-kick specialist, he has a great eye for the ball – capable of timing his runs and be on the receiving end of crosses by heading the ball into the net due to his aerial reach.

The question is whether we hype him up because of his father, or if he will become a world-class player despite of his descent. Lots of pressure is on Cristiano Júnior’s shoulders and with major clubs standing in line to put pen on a paper for him, the story of a Father and a son is written as we speak. Will it be a happy ending? I believe so!

Filip Pavic – The best new centre-back wonderkid in FM27?! Meet the new Antonio Silva regen

Bayern Munich's wonderkid defender Filip Pavic likely profile on FM27

For any extreme possession-hungry team, who push their defensive line as high as possible, the profile of their centre-backs and their abilities is vital to succeed at both retaining possession and defending against potential counter-attacks that may occur if ball is lost.

Emerging at Bayern Munich, a new rare centre-back talent is starting to make its way into the first team. His name is Filip Pavic – a versatile defender of dual nationality, German and Croatian. He can play both as a defensive midfielder, or on the right back in a back three system but shines when being used as a Ball-playing defender / Advanced centre-back.

Previously being one of the regular starters for the German Under-16 team, he was called up to the Croatian Under-17 squad before the UEFA U17 Euro in May 2026. Although he played in all the three group matches and his team won two out of three matches, he couldn’t help his team to qualify for the semi-finals.

Regardlessly, Filip Pavic is one of the highest rated talents in the 2010-genrration in Germany, and probably throughout Europe. His name was on eberyone’s lips when he debuted for Bayern’s first team in the Champions League against Atalanta on the 18 March 2026 – making him the third-ever youngest player in the UCL, and the second youngest player for Bayern Munich. It came after just three appearances for the Under-19s – signalizing rapid development at the start of 2026.

Despite being a lanky defender who looks like he’s better in the aerial situations than on the ground, the reality of Filip Pavic’s style of play is different.

The 190cm tall defender has everything you want from a modern centre-back these days. Standing out for his positioning, composure with the ball as the team builds out from the back, passing technique and anticipation, he brings security at the back – freeing up the defensive duties of the midfielders in front of him.

His tactical intelligence makes him stand out in all phases of play, whether it is to keep the opposing attacker facing away from goal once he received it, or threading passes through the lines, or over the top of the opponent’s defensive line.

Great at turning defence into attack through his outstanding long range passes, Filip Pavic is a threat on his own when the team is in possession of the ball. In the final third, against opponents who park the bus, he has a decent long shot which may surprise the goalkeeper.

At the same time, as highlights from his debut in UEFA Champions League shows, he’s comfortable when building out from the back, retaining possession and connect the passing sequences as the team tries to counter the opponents high-mid block.

As a player who have gone through the ranks of Bayern Munich since the age of 9, it’s clear he’s one The Bavarians have faith in…and for reason.

In FM27, Filip Pavic is set to become one of the best wonderkids in the centre-back position under the age of 18… and will probably cost a lot less than Honest Ahanor or Matteo Palma.
