Football Manager is an interesting game. Just because I am Turkish and Acun Ilıcalı owns Hull City, I wanted to share a 4-2-3-1 tactic with you that I’ve tried with Yeni Mersin İdmanyurdu and Hull City. I’ve experimented with Hull City so much that it’s already 2027. Let’s take a look at this basic 4-2-3-1 tactic.
I’ve included many Turkish football celebrities in the team. Sinan Engin is just one of those names.
But let’s take a closer look at my 4-2-3-1 tactic that brough success for me at Hull and Yeni Mersin İdmanyurdu in Türkiye.

Yeni Mersin İdman Yurdu
My career with Yeni Mersin İdman Yurdu in FM24 was one of the most enjoyable careers I’ve had. We became champions in the Turkish second division while unfortunately losing to Fenerbahçe in the final of the Turkish Cup. As with every career, there were superstars. Some of these superstars were Onur Arı, Erdem Onur Beytaş, Chris David, and Baran Sarka…
The other team I tried this tactic on.
Results and Player Stats (Hull City)
My career with Hull City on FM24 became my most played career. I guess being a bit Turkish had its influence. Also, both President Acun Ilıcalı and I are from Erzurum, I guess that also affected it. :) Currently, I have progressed with Hull City until 2027, but in this write-up, we’ll look at the data from the first season. I need to mention some superstars who accompanied me in this career. Some of these superstars include Ozan Tufan, Jaden Philogene, and Liam Delap…
Let’s take a detailed look at the season if you wish.
