With this mod your game will feel snappier than ever and allow you to navigate around the game far easier and more quicker!

Today we’ll show you how you can speed up Football Manager 26 with this gamechanging FM26 mod!

How to make FM26 Faster? Installation Guide for the Football Manager 26 Speed Mod

Altough Football Manager 26’s new UI has seen significant improvements with several bug fixes and patches released throughout the short FM26 beta cycle, the developers have included a transition mode in Football Manager 26 that – for some – will make the game render rather slowly.

You’ve perhaps noticed the short time it takes to move between screens and panels – meaning you have to wait before the information in the next Card and Tile pops up.

Luckily, we got passionate Community members like Bassy Boy who has released a patch that speeds up Football Manager 26 up to 250x! Eventhough this mod is highly experimental so early on in the game cycle, applying this patch enables you to move between panels ALOT faster than before!

When downloading this mod you’ll find the version 2 of the speed mod – meaning they are activately updating and improving this FM26 mod to make it better and better.

The creator has taken into account older computers who needs a little time to catch up with the changes, but you’ll be able to choose between an ultra fast mode and a medium quick mode.

Now, you may wonder how to apply this FM26 speed patch – let us take a closer look at how to install it so you can make Football Manager 26 run significantly faster!


Step 1. Download FM26 Speed Patch by Bassy Boy

Click the download button above to get the FM26 speed patch and select the version for your computer – either Windows or Mac.

The file you’ll be downloading is called ui-panelsids_assets_all Windows.bundle

Step 2. Apply the File

To install the file you need to the follow location depending on whaat OS you are using or where you’ve bought Football Manager.

Windows

  • Steam C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 26\fm_Data\StreamingAssets\aa\StandaloneWindows64
  • Epic Games: C:\Program Files\Epic Games\Football Manager 26\fm_Data\StreamingAssets\aa\StandaloneWindows64

MacOS

  • Steam ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Football Manager 26/fm.app/Contents/Resources/Data/StreamingAssets/aa/StandaloneOSX

If that doesn’t work you can try this location:
~/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Football Manager 26/fm_Data/StreamingAssets/aa/StandaloneOSXUniversal

  • Epic Games ~/Library/Application Support/Epic/Football Manager 26/fm_Data/StreamingAssets/aa/StandaloneOSXUniversal

For MacOS users you might need to show hidden files and right click to gain access to sub files if you can’t access files beneath any of the folders.

2.1 Browse Local Files on Steam – The Alternative Method

How to browse local Football Manager 26 files on Steam

If you have problems finding this path on your computer, a great trick which Omega Luke first shared was using the Steam interface to browse local files.

  1. Simply go to your Steam Library and select Football Manager 26
  2. Click on the Cog in the right corner
  3. Select Browse Local Files
  4. You will now be redirected to where the main files for Football Manager 26 is installed
  5. From here you follow the path location above to enter the correct folder – \fm_Data\StreamingAssets\aa\StandaloneWindows64
  6. NB! You can even use this little trick whenever you wish to apply the FM26 real names fix mod.

2.2 Backup the File

To ensure that you can easily revert your changes if anything breaks, it’s recommended to backup the file we shall replace before applying the FM26 speed patch.

So, scroll down the lists of files until you see ui-panelids_assets_all.bundle

Rename that file by adding backup or old to the back of the file name. The file name will now look like ui-panelids_assets_all.bundle.backup

You are now ready to import the mod which makes Football Manager 26 faster.

Locate the file on your computer and paste it inside.

Step 4. Editing Preferences

To make sure the speed patch works, you need to load up Football Manager 26 and go to Preferences. If you’re already got FM26 running, please save and quit your game and restart Football Manager.

Here you need to go to Detailed and then browse until you find ‘Show picture of players (and staff) who are generated by the game’. Untick or disable that and hit Confirm.

Load your save game and you’ll now experience that the game feels more snappier! Even the loading screen will take shorter time to load.

That’s it – a win win solution to speed up Football Manager 26’s user interface and loading times!
