Although it changes colours and font type, this FM26 skin by MrTini23 features some drastic visual changes to some of the most important screens in Football Manager 26. By re-designing the layout of FM26, with the aim to remove clutter and make the game more playable, the MrTini23 skin is one of the best skins on the market!

Best Features of MrTini23 Dark Skin

Re-Designed Player Profile

One of the biggest enhancements made to the skin since its launch is the work gone into re-designing the player profile!

Featuring the player profile polygon, better visuality of pros and cons directly on the player overview along with a more visually appealing coach report, the re-designed player profiles in MrTini23 skin makes it an absolutely must-have FM26 skin!

Re-worked Player Performance Screen

The re-work also extends to the Player Performance screen – coupling performance and statistics alongside fitness and training progress – providing you with a wonderful all-in-one screen relating to make the necessary adjustments to try to get the most out of your players, or analyze their performance or development.

A similar improvement has been made to the Player Career screen – giving you a better overview of their career progress and records, their current season statistics as well as milestones and which national team they are representing.

Easier to find key information or move around within your club, the Club Site is a all-in-one screen for both learning about your next opposition or get to know your new club!

How to Install the MrTini23 FM26 skin

As revealed in our guide on how to install custom skins on Football Manager 26, there are two methods to import the MrTini23 FM26 skin but first click the download button above. This will take you to MrTini23’s Patreon where you can download this Football Manager 26 skin for free!

Step 1: Please verify your game files BEFORE downloading: Steam Support :: Verify Integrity of Game Files. Don’t do this after installing the skin!

Step 2: Download the skin from MrTini23’s Patreon.

Once downloaded, unzip the content and open it – leaving you with two folders:

  • Copy + Paste (for manual installation)
  • Skin Builder Version

Step 3: Find the user location of the game files for Football Manager 26. You can find it by going on the Steam’s Games Library – right-click the cog on Football Manager 26, select Manage: ‘Browse through local files

  • PC Steam: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 26\fm_Data\StreamingAssets\aa\StandaloneWindows64
  • macOS: Find the Football Manager folder, right-click the FM icon and click ‘show package contents‘. The files will then show up.

It is a good practice to make a backup of anything you replace before installing, although the FM Skin Builder enables you to restore the default bundles without any hassle.

Method 1: Using the FM Skin Builder

This is probably the easiest method. It’s important to download the latest version of FM Skin Builder app – even if the latest is a beta version.

  1. Configure the settings of the app. Set the correct game bundles directory (as provided above).
  2. Move the folder inside Skin Builder Version of MrTini23’s skin to the newly created skins folder in: Your Documents / FM Skin Builder
  3. Inside the FM Skin Builder click Explore and Open Skins
  4. Select the MrTini23 skin. Click Build in the left sidebar menu: Apply to Game.
  5. Wait a few minutes until the skin is installed
  6. Open Football Manager 26 and enjoy the new dark skin.

MPORTANT

Whenever a patch is announced, restore to the original game files before the patch is rolled out and downloaded. This will mean the Skin Builder tool always uses the most up-to-date default files.

Method 2: Copy & Paste: Modify default Game files

For those who don’t want to make any changes to the skin, there is the option for a copy-and-paste install. Here you got the opportunity to manually install the bundle files. One set of bundles is for the dark skin and the other is for the default colours with the changed layouts.

Choose which one you want to use and copy all of the bundle files. Then paste them into the location where your default game’s files are located.

You can find it here:

  • Windows Steam
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 26\fm_Data\StreamingAssets\aa\StandaloneWindows64

1. Copy the files inside the ‘Copy+Paste’ folder of MrTini23’s skin.

2. You will be prompted to replace the files. Do this!

3. Open Football Manager 26 and enjoy the game with an updated appearance!
