Even though we will take a look at teams to manage for a summer save by taking a closer look at save ideas for Football Manager 2026 according to promotions and relegations later on, the Passion4FM Football Manager 2026-2027 season league update database will let you start a new save on FM26 where Vicenza is back into the Italian Serie B, Nantes relegated to the French Ligue 2, or Real Zaragoza relegated to the Spanish Primera Federacion.

To continue the success from our Football Manager League update database for FM24, we bring you the full league update database for Football Manager 26 which consists of promotions and relegations from the biggest nations in Europe.

By downloading our league update database megapack, you’ll experience that every playable league has been edited with the qualified teams for 2026/27 season across the biggest nations in Europe on FM26, alongside Past Winners in League History of tournaments, cups and/or divisions.

This year, all the league update databases are spread across separate files for each nation.

For some nations, I have been forced to use the Advanced Editor to replicate important format structures and other notable changes, e.g. Southampton’s 4 point deduction, or activating the National 2 in France.

NB! Since we are not able to edit the start date to 01.07.2026, you will start your career off in the 2025/26 season – meaning that this season is scrapped in your game.

Apart from correcting promotions and relegations for playable leagues, we have also updated the correct history of all divisions and Cups within the database.

So far, we have not yet edited the correct teams for the UEFA European competitions, e.g. Champions League 2026/27, Europa League and Conference registered, but the plan is to release a file which fixes this after all nations are ready.

England 2026/27 Season Update feat. Premier League 26/27

The first edition of Passion4FM’s Football Manager 2026-27 league update database features an update to the English league system down to Enterprise National North/South. This file makes managing in the English league system more realistic on FM26 by correcting all the promoted and relegated teams.

In the England 26-27 file you’ll get to opportunity to manage Coventry in the English Premier League, or take on the challenge of getting Leicester back in the Championship after they relegated to the Sky Bet League One for 26/27 season! Or perhaps you may fancy to start a quest to get Walton & Hersham promoted from the bottom of Enterprise National League South into the Premier League in a zero to hero lower league challenge this summer?!

France 2026-27 Season Update

In the French league update for 2025-26 season we have activated Championnat National 2 so you can manage and rebuild Bordeaux in Football Manager 2026 after they were administrately relegated from Ligue 2 for 2023-24 season.

Apart from getting the opportunity to control Bordeaux, the 2025-26 season fix let you discover Metz, Nantes and Sochaux in Ligue 2. You’ll even get the chance to manage Cannes who promoted to Ligue 3 (Championnat National) for 2026/27 season, or try to restore the glory of Chateauroux in Football Manager after being relegated to Ligue 3 for 25/26 season.

Germany 2026/27 League Update

The German Bundesliga 2026/27 league update file fixes promotions and relegations for the top 3 divisions in Germany. Here you’ll discover Elversberg 07 back in the German Bundesliga for the first time in their entire club history which dates back to 1907!

Schalke 04 also managed to secure promotion to Bundesliga whilst Wolfsburg had to take the difficult step down to the 2. Bundesliga.

Apart from the opportunity to manage a former German powerhouse that had its golden era in the 70s and 80s, you’ll experience newly promoted Fortuna Köln, Meppen and Sonnenhof Grossaspach in the 3.Liga along with Fortuna Düsseldorf who were founded 130 years ago and had their greatest era in the late 1970s when they lost in the Cup Winner’s Cup final against Barcelona. Managing Fortuna Düsseldorf could be a great restore the glory save to do before FM27 is released.

Spain 2026/27 League Update

This is the preliminary Spanish league update for 2026/27 season. Here we have ‘corrected’ the teams for LaLiga EA Sports 2026/27 season and the LaLiga 2 HYPERMOTION as far as we can at this point.

Here’s your chance to embark on a save where you rebuild Real Zaragoza, who relegated to Primera Federacion for 2026/27 season. You’ll also discover Tenerife in La Liga 2, or UD Logroñes in Primera Federacion.

The Portugal 2026/27 league update fixes promotions and relegations for the top three divisions. Maritimo and Academica de Viseu has replaced Tondela and AVS SAD in the Liga Portugal.

Disclaimer! For the moment, I do not have the correct groups for Liga 3 as I don’t know exactly which groups Pacos de Ferreira and Oliveirense will go to. Relegations and promotions between Campeonato de Prio and Liga 3 is arranged but teams relegated from Liga 3 is not moved to the correct group in the Championship.

This file corrects the teams for Serie A Enilive 2026/27 season and gives you 95% correct teams for Serie B and Serie , The file will be updated after promotion playoffs happening at 7 June. The latest update released 3 June fixes promotions and relegations between Serie D – meaning you’ll find Grosseto in Serie C or LR Vicenza in Serie B.
