What changes are in the FM22 World Cup 2022 Real Groups Mod?
DodgeeGamer has put all the qualified teams for this years World Cup in the correct group as announced in the group phase draw. This let you see England compete against Iran, USA and Wales for a place in the knockout round, or take control of any of the teams within the group of death to see if you manage to can get yourself to the final stages of the tournament.
As the ‘only’ Football Manager database with real venues, the FM22 World Cup 2022 real groups mod ensures all 64 matches of the tournament are taking place across the eight venues selected – Al Bayt Stadium, Khalifa International Stadium, Al Thumama Stadium, Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium, Lusail Stadium, Stadium 974, Education City Stadium and Al Janoub Stadium.

Quick Overview of Changes
To ensure the most authentic World Cup experience, he has made several changes to ensure the most realistic Football Manager WC 2022 experience.
This file adds the real World Cup 2022 groups to your FM22 game including the following:
- real groups
- correct knockout round brackets
- real dates
- real venues
Known issues
- final group stage matches will not take place at the same time but are otherwise accurate
- please DON’T USE this database within a regular save. World Cup will simply repeat itself every four years and other tournaments have been disabled to make the file work!

NOTICE! Do NOT use as part of a regular career as the same World Cup will just repeat every 4 years. Other tournaments (e.g. World Cup Qualifying, nations League) have also been disabled to allow the file to work.
Download Instructions

Users/YOUR Mac USERNAME/Library/Application Support/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2022 > Editor Data

NB! This folder is hidden by default. Please follow these instructions to locate your Football Manager 2022 Documents*.
- Quit and Re-start Football Manager if you’re playing it
- Start a NEW Save
- Locate ‘Database’ – Click on the down menu 22.X Update
- View under Editor Data Files
- Tick the ‘WorldCup 2022 Real Groups Mod’
- Un-tick any other files
- Click Confirm
- When setting up the save:
i) Select Canada as one of the playable nations
ii) Select start date April 2022 (4/4/2022 – Start of 2022 Season)
iii) Simulate the game to November 1st to pick the squad or play from April 2022. - Enjoy the challenge!
