Today I’m looking closer at the FM22 4-2-4 Possession Master Tactic. The Possession Master tactic as you can guess is about keeping the ball and making the attacks count and with this tactic, we achieve this.

About FM DNA’s FM22 4-2-4 Possession Master Tactic
This is a very attacking looking tactic with 4 players upfront getting in on the goals. You will score a lot of goals and will be spread amongst the front 4. As I’ve previously said with Possession Master we want to keep the ball and make our attacks count with 2 roaming play makers at the heart of getting attacks going.
GK/Defence
GK is a Sweeper Keeper support and 2 Wing Backs attack with take more risks/shoot less often/sit narrower and tackle harder. With 2 Ball Playing Defenders on defend with stay wider/shoot less often and tackle harder.
Midfield
This part is simple 2 Roaming Playmakers at the heart of the tactic with dribble more/shoot less often/move into channels/tackle harder and mark tighter.
Attack
In attack we have a deadly foursome with 2 Inside Forwards with shoot less often/sit narrower/mark tighter and tackle harder. A Shadow Striker on attack with shoot less often/mark tighter and tackle harder. Also with a False 9 on support with shoot less often/move into channels/tackle harder and mark tighter.
