Put on your tracksuit and use your knowledge of Football Manager as you take on the lower leagues of Scotland and start the hunt for closing the gap to the biggest Scottish clubs. Can you build a Scottish superpower at a club starting out with training facilities so mediocre that it’s pure luck if you manage to see one of your newgens playing for the Scottish national team.

Thanks to Mozza, the creator of this Football Manager 26 Scottish lower league database, we can give you the option to unlock the full Scottish league system for the 2025/26 season. Even though the file has been created for the past years, the new version sees a real-life league pyramid re-created in Football Manager 2026 all the way down to the 10th tier!

Here you’ll get the chance to unlock new playable divisions such as the Highland and Lowland football league included, as well as non-league premier divisions existing in level 6, such as the East and South of Scotland Football League.

This FM26 Scotland database is a great addition to the English Lower Leagues database by DANFMDatabases – enabling you to move around the United Kingdom for the ultimate lower league journeyman save!

Change List:

  • Addition of all leagues in the SFA pyramid, as well as relevant cups
  • Managers added at all playable levels
  • Cups corrected to work as they do IRL, with the Scottish Cup seeing changes
  • Depth added in media, personnel, awards etc
  • Working playoffs & promotion/relegation at every level

It is recommended that you select “Add players to playable teams” from the Advanced Options box when selecting your leagues.

How to Download the FM26 Scotland Database

  • Download the Scottish database above.
  • Put the files into folder :
    • PC: This Computer/Your Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 26 > editor data
    • MAC*: Users/YOUR Mac USERNAME/Library/Application Support/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 26 > editor data
  • Subscribe to the file on Steam
  • Quit and Re-start Football Manager if you’re playing it
  • Start a NEW Save with Advanced Mode
  • Locate ‘Database’ – Click on the ‘Football Manager 26’ drop down menu under Database.
  • View under Editor Data Files
    • Tick the Database
  • Un-tick any files that may conflict
  • Click Confirm
  • Select Add Nations: Scotland
  • Find Database Size at the bottom: Click on the Total Player Count
  • Click the drop down menu : Select Custom
  • To experience more players, select either;
    1. Nations – Scotland – Players based in nation
    2. or, Regions – UK – Players based in nations
  • Experience an even more realistic Football Manager 26 featuring more Scottish players and the entire league system of Scotland activated within the game!
