After two seasons, and never debuting for the first team he moved back to Spain to play for Real Sociedad B. In 2020 he got his La Liga debut against Barcelona.
This season, Robert Navarro has scored 7 goals in 13 appearances, most of them coming from playing as an attacking midfielder. Standing out for his creativity and unleashed capabilities with the ball, Robert Navarro might be the perfect player for mid-table clubs or first division clubs. Here’s a player with lots of unreleased potentials.

Having managed Benfica at the start of FM21, Filipe Cruz was one I promoted to the first team straight away. Give him matches and he’ll progress greatly!
He’s perfect for a complete wingback role or as an attacking wingback as he’s one who enjoys coming to the byline by putting in crosses. Actually, he can play down the whole right flank. Improve his attacking movements and first touch and you might have your own cheap version of Daniel Alves!

Layton Stewart is a rough diamond in the making! Give him 2 to 5 seasons where you focus on developing his quickness and smartness in the final third and you’ll have a natural goalscorer! This season he’s scored 15 goals in 10 appearances in Premier League U18. In fact, his total goals stand at 31 in 36 appearances. Actually, his eye for the goal and frequent hat-tricks has put Layton Stewart’s name on every Reds fan’s lips. Future is definitely looking bright for this Under-19 English National player.

Max Normann Williamsen (17) – Kristiansund 2, €28K
It’s easy to head to Scandinavia for cheap wonderkids and other bargains. Although I could have mentioned Filip Rønningen Jørgensen (Odds BK), Emil Ceide (Rosenborg) or Odin Thiago Holm (Vålerenga) I want to give attention to Max Normann Williamsen. The 191 cm tall central defender came from Clausenengen to Kristiansund in 2018 – the same club that developed Ole Gunnar Solskjær. At the age of 15, he signed his first professional contract but had to wait until 2020 before his Eliteserie debut.
Max Normann Williamsen is a modern central defender who is as good with the ball as without it. His abilities to be at the right place at the right time, his ruthlessness to not give opponents time with the ball, and put in excellent tackles when required have impressed me. Basically, you’ll have yourself a cheap Virgil van Dijk.

Are you searching for a cheap Luka Modric in FM21? Then look no further than to Tomislav Duvnjak! For years, technically gifted talents have come out of the Dinamo Zagreb conveyer belt. Now, there’s a new crop of Croatian playmakers emerging at Dinamo Zagreb. Whilst Martin Baturina, Ivan Saranic or Niko Jankovic might deserve attention too, I find Tomislav Duvnjak most interesting.
A deep-lying playmaker in the same mold of Sergio Busquets or Luka Modric, Tomislav Duvnjak stands out for his teamwork, work rate and determination. Able to play as half-back, regista or a ball-winning midfielder he’s the perfect player to operate between the defense and midfield line. Adept at retaining possession under pressure or make long-range passes to initiate attacking moves in an instant, Duvnjak might be the creative outlet you need in front of your defence.
