Regens are randomly generated players, or staffs for that matter. They are completely new players, often replacing those who has retired. It gives the opportunity to preserve a competitive database no matter which season you’re heading into. As seasons passes by, regens will take over, perhaps will your own son enter the database?!

As you will discover below, the regens will enter the database at specific dates. They are very easy to spot as they have a computer generated face. Their starting age can be between 14 to 16 years on the day of youth intake, but can also be as old as 21. They will develop according to their potential and your guidance, just as “regular” players. Eventually, as you advance through the years to let’s say, season 2035/36, the game will be filled with only Football Manager regens (players and staff).

There are two options in order to find the new generated FM15 newgens / regens. Instead of sending out one of your best FM15 scouts, can you find every new regen generated under: Search Overview – World – Transfers and Youth Intake. You will then be able to go into each players player profile and get scout report.

About the FM15 Regens Dates

New for Football Manager 2015 is that the regen dates will be generated randomly around the dates / same month as mentioned below. We recommend you to keep tabs of the world transfer section around these days in order to spot the new talents generated from the annual youth intake as quickly as possible.

With the new randomly generated dates the youth production will be more realistic as the dates will vary from year to year. The European leagues will have its youth intake around February / March, while South America (Brazil) will have theirs in the end of the year. In the end it will be more difficult to predict when they will arrive the first season, or if they will arrive at all, depending on game feels it’s suited to bring in more youngsters the first 6 months of the game.
